Since I burn wood in the winter to keep the house warm and I enjoy physical exercise I've fallen into the hobby of being a part time lumberjack. This past summer I had the luck of being offered some downed trees so I figured out how to chop them up into rounds, split them so I could haul them to my trailer, drove them to my yard and split them with a maul and wood splitter. I think I managed to cut and split about 4 cords this summer on the weekends.
