I’ve been a pretty prolific gardener for a long time now, I started with a small urban garden when I lived in the city and have since ‘grown’ my operations now that I live in the suburbs. Gardening is a hobby that is a lot of fun for myself and the family, practical and therapeutic.

My garden gets pampered with a pressurized rain water system I put together. I collect all the rain off my roof and store it in four 275 gallon tanks. Any overflow gets diverted into underground pipes that send the additional water to the back of my yard to a pit. |

Pump, manifold and check valve for the rain water system. This pumped the rain water at 50 PSI, same as city water so I can use the rain water just as I would any garden hose connected to the house. |

I dug a trench and put all my water lines under ground so I don’t have to trip over hoses all summer long. Each garden box has a spigot of pressurized rain water. |
